“When we approach a film or theatrical project, we study the script to learn about the main characters and the emotional requirements of the story. Then we set out to make one of a kind, hand made 'instruments', that sonically represent those main characters. Because every story, and every director is unique, we build entirely new instruments each time; we tailor make our 'orchestra' to suit the world of the story. 

We build those pieces, then learn how to play them... and when I say 'play' them, I really mean we try to discover what they want to do musically. They teach us how to play them.  From there, we start to build the score..."
